Good music to play halo 2 too.

what are some bands that are good to listen to while playing halo?

Techno music!!

breaking benjimen- blow me away.

I personally prefer the soundtrack to the game as anything else would be kinda awkward. Also you'd have to mute the TV which would lessen the immersion of the game significately. Tbh the only game where I listened to outside music was the Xbox version of Counterstrike where you could listen to your Xbox soundtrack ingame.

I was thinking of:

-heavy techno trance style music (an example is GIGADELIC on stepmania, the remix)

-and some killswitch engage.
-36 crazyfists.

just anything that would get you pumped without you knowing it.

I had TNT in my playlist, but I didnt really like it for halo. didnt match.

I think that Thunderstuck would work really well in a Single Player Halo 2 Montage using a mix of ingame action and cutscenes. Plus that song is just pwnage imo.

I played thunderstruck to a lot of games, it was epic with Halo 2.

When i play u 1v1 tropicana, Dragonforce will be blasting away.

I like listening to techno most of the time, or sometimes I'll listen to heavy metal.

Edit, I'm looking for a very particular song, can't remember the name or artist, but some of the lyrics I can remember as one of the following:

I can vaguely remember it, but I know it came out around the same time as "The Hampster Dance"
